Set just outside the town of Seaforde, The Cottages are steeped in history – read more about this in the About Us Section. The location is idyllic and tranquil, set in a rural scene, with rolling hills and the Mourne Moutains in the background. However, a 10 minute drive brings you to the holiday town of Newcastle, and a 30minute drive brings you into the heart of Belfast, the capital of Northern Ireland. Other local attractions are the Blue Flag beaches at Murlough and Tyrella. The area is packed with places of interest and activities for family of all ages and tastes. Although The Bakers Cottages are an ideal base to explore the Mourne region, it is also the perfect place to relax and unwind for a Mid week or weekend break enjoying the onsite facilities, such as the BBQ area, fire pit, the Hot Tub, the nature wild flower garden and the various outdoor living spaces.
